Chromebook Checkout/Orientations Dates Announced

posted Jul 11, 2018, 8:45 AM by Troy Gray   [ updated Jul 11, 2018, 9:44 AM ]

Summer is halfway over and we wanted to inform you of something new for the MS/HS students of the 2018-19 school year.  We are so excited to be able to offer the Chrome books again this year to all 6-12 grade students. Instead of waiting until the school year starts, we are going to have an orientation night for each grade level where parents and students can come to the school, pick up their schedule, pay and pick-up their chromebooks (if they choose to pay and take home), and sign the appropriate paperwork that night!  Now, you won’t be bombarded the first day of school with paperwork!!! On the designated nights listed below you may come to the MS/HS and we will direct you to the place you need to go according to your grade level. Below is the schedule for the orientations by grade level.

August 7        5:30 pm     6th grade (new information MS)

August 9       4-7:00 pm    7th, 8th, & 9th grade

August 10      4-7:00 pm     10th, 11th, & 12th grade

August 16      8:00 am     First Day of School!!

Anyone who is unable to make it to the orientation will have paperwork for the parent/guardian to fill out and will be issued their chrome book in the first few days of school after paperwork has been filled out and returned along with payment.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact the office. We will return to the office on July 30.

10 Buses lost in Bus Barn Fire

posted Jan 23, 2018, 9:24 AM by Troy Gray

On January 10, Wyandotte schools lost 10 buses in a fire at the bus barn.  I would like to thank all the firefighters, first responders, and volunteers who assisted with the fire. We are blessed and thankful for all you do in keeping our communities safe.  I would also like to thank our community for their support, as well as all the districts that offered us assistance.  Your generosity and kind words were amazing during this difficult time.  This is a strong community and school district.  We will recover from this devastating blow and bounce back stronger than ever.  That's who we are and what we do at "the Dotte". #BFND- Bear Fight Never Dies! Again Thank You! - Troy Gray Superintendent.  MNR Article: http://www.miamiok.com/news/20180111/fire-destroys-nearly-1-million-wyandotte-bus-fleet-and-barn
