Bear Trap Teams Compete In  Regionals

On Wednesday, March 25 members of the Bear Trap Team traveled to Coweta to participate in the OKSSSP Regional Competition.  OKSSSP is the Oklahoma Scholastic Shooting Sports Program.  This program is sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation for the purposes of teaching firearm safety and encouraging outdoor activity in youth.

Seven students represented Wyandotte Public Schools in the Junior (Middle School) Division.  They included Bree Barger, Zakk Bilinski, Joshua Gragg, JD Stockton, Kaiden Summerlin, Jackson Taylor, and Cutter Thomson.  The team finished in 3rd place!  Bilinski was 6th place individual in the division.

In the Senior (High School) Division, Wyandotte fielded a team that included five students.  These students were Eli Campbell, Jalen Enyart, Austin Garrett, Emily Gayler, and Angel Schaller.

The team is coached by Bob Coffey, Cyndi Kingfisher, Mike Mayfield, and Brandon Siegrist.  Siegrist serves as the head coach.
