Our 2022/2023 Support Staff Member of the Year is Mr. Brandon Bartley. Brandon has worked in the district since May of 2012. He serves as the Head of Maintenance, the Bus Coordinator, and helps lead all Maintenance staff in a district where there has been more growth and change in the last couple of years than ever before. Brandon’s ability to do almost anything, and to lead his staff makes him integral to everything we do around here. There aren’t a lot of places that you can go to that the maintenance staff will be doing everything from framing up new classrooms, taking on major projects, painting, repairing, and doing contractor work in addition to their typical duties which include electrical, plumbing, and general cleanliness. Not only does Brandon do that, but he leads a staff that follows his example.
One of the ones that nominated him had this to say about him:
Brandon is and always has been absolutely integral to everything we do around here. He is the head of maintenance, bus coordinator, and the go-to for virtually everything. At a time when our school, our campus, and our vision is expanding more and more, it's hard to stress how important knowing you have good people in his position really is. We keep them spread pretty thin and they take on more and more projects no matter what is asked. Furthermore, he is good humored and is a culture leader in a lot of ways because people like to be around him. Our students flock to him and are constantly wanting to hang around him as well. If you're going to honor someone that is in the support staff, it has to start with Brandon.
