On February 4, 2020, five members of the Wyandotte FCCLA chapter traveled to Tahlequah, OK to compete in Students Taking Action with Recognition (STAR) events. These are competitive events in which members compete at the region/district, state, and national level and are recognized for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and career preparation. These young ladies represented their FCCLA chapter well by placing 1st, 2nd, and 4th place in their specific content areas.
