1st & 2nd Hours – Seniors
🖤 Report to 1st hour for roll, then go to the gym.
Guest speaker from NE Tech will discuss:
🖤 Post-high school options: college, military, technical training, workforce
🖤 FAFSA and creating an FSA ID (required before submitting FAFSA).
After the talk, students will:
🖤 Apply to colleges
🖤 Research technical schools or jobs
🖤 Create their FSA IDs (takes ~5 minutes; need phone #, address, SS#).
Done by the end of 2nd hour.
Bring Chromebooks.💻
No food or drink allowed.🚫
3rd Hour – 9th & 10th Graders
🖤 Report to 3rd hour class for roll, then go to the gym.
🖤 Upward Bound presentation (~45 minutes).
🖤 Teachers: accompany students and remind them – 🚫no food or drink.
Additional Notes
🖤 FAFSA opens October 1st, but FSA ID setup takes ~7 days.
🖤 FSA ID is required for FAFSA and is a graduation requirement.
🖤 No tax info needed at this time.
🖤 Students without a 1st hour must be at school by ⏰8:00 AM.
🖤 AM Tech students can check with Tech for an activity absence.
