π©ΊSpring Semester Integris Internshipπ©Ί
High school students from across northeast Oklahoma are getting a closer look at careers in health care π©Ίβ¨, thanks to an immersive internship program offered through INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital and INTEGRIS Health Miami Hospital.
βThis program allows students to experience the full scope of what a career in health care might look like,β said Elsie Glover, administrative project manager at INTEGRIS Health Miami and Grove hospitals. βSome students come in thinking they know what they want to do, only to discover an area theyβre even more passionate about. Others start with just a general interest in health care, and by the end of the program, theyβve found a calling.β π‘β€οΈ
Students will have the unique opportunity to shadow medical professionals π©ββοΈπ¨ββοΈ, observe procedures π¬, and experience moments rarely seen outside formal training programs. Applications for the Spring 2026 session will open in September π . High school juniors and seniors interested in applying are encouraged to speak with their school counselor.
Our very own Wyandotte Bear, Mikey Sims, will be participating in the spring semester of the INTEGRIS Internship! π»π He went through the interview process in November and was accepted into the program. Congratulations, Mikey! ππ
