The conference, titled “Lead the Way,” focused on service and leading others through our actions. Students were encouraged to think about important questions: Who are we called to serve? Who needs us to show up, believe in them, or simply show kindness?
Representing our school were Olivia Long, Alexis Hembree, Emmaliegh Brownfield, Michaela Stovall, Chloe Randall, and Riley Lawrence. Students attended four breakout sessions, including one where they made tie blankets for veterans in the Ft. Sill area.
All of the students said they enjoyed the day, learned a lot, and were glad they attended. It was a great reminder that leadership starts with serving others.
