We wanted to congratulate Lynsey Baldridge on being nominated, voted on, and named the Wyandotte Elementary School Teacher of the Year. Lynsey began working at Wyandotte Public Schools in August of 2005 and has been a dedicated, hardworking educator in the lower elementary for 21 years now. She is a favorite every year of parents and students and there are generations of Wyandotte students who can fondly remember the role she has played in their lives. Some of the things that were said about Mrs. Baldridge by those who nominated her were:
⭐️ I wanted to nominate Mrs. Baldridge because of the positive impact she has had on my son this year. He can be a little ornery at times, but she has shown so much patience and understanding with him. Because of her, he truly enjoys coming to school each day, and that means so much to our family. It is clear that she cares deeply about her students and works hard to help each one succeed.
⭐️ I nominate Lynsey Baldridge because I believe Mrs. Baldridge has made a meaningful contribution in Wyandotte Education by creating a classroom where students feel supported and excited to learn. She takes the time to understand her students and helps them grow both academically and personally. Her patience and encouragement have made a big difference, especially for my son, and I know many other students benefit from her dedication as well.
⭐️ Lynsey is my nomination because I feel that an outstanding teacher is someone who can reach every child, even the ones who may be a little more challenging, and she does exactly that. She shows kindness, patience, and consistency, which has helped my son feel confident and comfortable at school. Seeing him excited to go to school each day shows me what an amazing teacher she is.
⭐️ I wanted to nominate Lynsey Baldridge as teacher of the year. One of her greatest strengths is her patience and the positive way she works with her students. Over the school year, I have seen my son grow in his behavior and confidence. Even though he can be ornery at times, she has helped guide him in a positive direction, and he has made improvements because of her encouragement and support. I am very thankful for the difference she has made in his school experience.
