Here’s everything you need to know about our lead medic:

📍 Proudly raised in Quapaw, Oklahoma!

🏠 Family: Married to his wife, Michaela (a Special Education teacher at Wyandotte Elementary!), dad to two awesome daughters, Saige and Salem, and owner of their dog, Moose! 🐶

 Medical & Fire Career:

🚒Started as a volunteer firefighter in 2004 on the first responder unit, where he fell in love with patient care 

🩺Became an EMT in 2005 and a Paramedic in 2009 

📚Certified Instructor since 2013 and a Level II Instructor through the Oklahoma State Department of Health 

🏫Teaches the Emergency Medical Technician Course at Wyandotte High School! 

 Certifications & Teaching Credentials:

Advanced Life Support: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS)

Rescue & Emergency Care: Sports Medicine, National Stop the Bleed Instructor, Vehicle Extrication, Rope Rescue, Farm Rescue, Chemical Rescue & Response

Fire & Incident Command: Wildland Firefighting, Fire Officer, Emergency Vehicle Driver Training, Traffic Incident Management, HazMat for WMDs

🐾Specialty Care: Animal First Aid & CPR 

🪙 Favorite Hobby: An amateur numismatist who loves collecting rare coins and currency.

🎶 Hidden Talent: A total multi-instrumentalist! He plays guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, ukulele, and the Great Highland bagpipes! 🪕🎻
