Veterans Day is observed on November 11 to honor all U.S. military veterans. Originally known as Armistice Day, it marked the end of World War I in 1918. Renamed by President Dwight Eisenhower in 1954, the day celebrates the sacrifices of veterans from all conflicts. As a nation, we honor their service with parades, ceremonies, and community events, reflecting our gratitude and commitment to remembering their bravery and dedication to protecting our freedom.

S.M.A.C (Students Making A Change) and BPA (Business Professionals of America) are teaming up this year for the annual “Richard Enyart” Food Drive November 7th-22nd. The winning elementary class will receive a donut party and the winning 4th hour MS/HS class will receive a pizza party provided by SMAC & BPA. Notes will be in the elementary Wednesday folders this week. All area food pantries are hurting more than ever right now. Food prices have gone up and the amount of food they receive is less than ever, yet the amount of people needing the help has only gone up. Many local pantries will only be able to stay open this next month with these donations. We appreciate your support!
