
On March 28th, BEARS Aviation students had an exciting visit to the Tulsa Air and Space Museum, where they participated in a scavenger hunt, explored first class, and enjoyed Dream to Fly in the Planetarium. A special thank you to our students for their outstanding behavior, earning praise from the museum staff. We also appreciate ODAA for their generous grant, making this inspiring trip possible.


At the American Royal Spring Livestock Show, Wyandotte FFA member Kinley Hofschulte proudly exhibited the Champion Wether Dam Doe, showcasing her hard work and dedication to the livestock industry. This achievement highlights her commitment to excellence and her skills in raising top-quality livestock. Congratulations to Kinley for this outstanding accomplishment!

REMINDER: ACT Mock Up (Juniors)
As a junior, taking the mock ACT is a great way to prepare for the real test. It helps you familiarize yourself with the test format, timing, and question types, reducing test-day anxiety. The mock exam also highlights your strengths and areas for improvement, allowing you to focus your study efforts. Plus, it gives you the chance to practice time management and test-taking strategies. Ultimately, the mock ACT is an essential step in building confidence and achieving your best score. Test will start 2nd hour tomorrow, April 2nd in the wrestling building. If it rains Mr. Robertson will take students by bus over. Make sure your child has a school issued Chromebook charged and is well rested and ready to test! Good luck juniors!


FCCLA State Star Events:
Each year, FCCLA has Star Events and competitions for its members. One of our members of FCCLA, Hunter Wieneke, went to one of these to test and compete over New Member Knowledge and other topics. Congratulations on making it to the state tier!

On Friday, March 7th, members of the Wyandotte Choral Department performed at the annual Caregiver Conference at First Christian Church in Miami. The event, which featured representatives from local agencies and Ottawa County tribes, focused on caregiver resources. The choir showcased contest music, favorite classics, and a preview of their upcoming spring concert, with lunch generously provided by the tribes.

Just a reminder if you are in Mrs. Samantha Young's Computer Science II class, you have competency testing tomorrow beginning at 10:00 AM (after the students check in to their 3rd hour classes), the students on the attached list will be called out to report to the new gym to take their Graphic Designer Competency Test. This test is designed to be finished within an hour. Students will be released as they finish the test.


Don't forget! ⏰ Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday, March 9th! Set your clocks forward one hour before bed on Saturday night so your student isn't late for school on Monday.


🚌8th Grade NE Tech Tour🏫
On Friday, March 7th, at 1 PM, 8th grade Wyandotte students will visit Northeast Tech in Afton for a tour. They will return at 2 PM. Students are able visit the many programs Northeast Tech offers, which helps students create their high school schedules, so that students are on the right path for the right career.


In December, the Wyandotte Marching Band proudly participated in the Fairland Christmas Parade. We are excited to announce that their hard work and dedication earned them a third-place award! Congratulations to all the band members for their incredible performance.


TSA (Technology Student Association) went to NEO for Regionals. Students competed in various events and competitions. Students Sophie Baker, Kaden Summerlin, and Jonathan Bowman got Second Place in Project Fair and will be moving on to State. Good Job Bears!

Wyandotte Schools in Session on 2/28 Despite Previous Schedule
Wyandotte Public Schools will now be in session on Wednesday, February 28, despite originally being scheduled as a day off. The change comes as a result of recent weather-related school closures, prompting the district to adjust the calendar to ensure students meet the required instructional days.
