The FCCLA Spring Craft Fair held on March 15th-16th, 2024 was a SUCCESS! Wyandotte FCCLA hosted their 5th Annual FCCLA Spring Craft Fair. With over 70 vendors, the fair was the biggest yet! On Monday, March 11th, Course I and Course II toured 3 different Spartan campuses. We started at the flight facility, then drove to the main campus, and concluded our tour at the north hangar facility. We learned about their flight program, aviation maintenance technology and aviation electronics technology programs. The students asked lots of good questions and came away with great information. We would like to invite everyone out to our Annual FCCLA Spring Craft Fair. This is our Biggest fair yet. ALL vendors are local to this area and include a huge part of our student body-Senior Class, Freshman Class, Business, Choir. Our FCCLA and TSA will be helping make sure everything is running smoothly. Please come out and support these students and small businesses. Hours and a flier are posted below: March 15, 6-8PM, $1 admission-Drawings and door prizes every 20 min March 16, 9am-3pm. FREE Admission-drawings every hour. Our spring pictures will be taken by Ruth Kelly Studios on Wednesday, March 13th. Elementary will also take class group photos. These pictures are done on a proof plan. Every child will have the opportunity to get their picture taken. Students will receive an envelope with a proof of their photos within 7-10 working days. The HS Art classes have been working on recycled book projects in honor of Earth Day. We had several books donated by various staff members. Students were able to create what they wanted with the books they chose. There are several finished products on display outside of the art room! Wyandotte High School and Middle School TSA members attended the Eastern Regional TSA Conference on Wednesday March 6 at NEO A&M College. Students competed in several different events such as Jr. & Sr. Solar Sprint, Problem Solving, Dragster, Flight Endurance, Debating Tech Issues, and Photographic Technology. March 6th is considered National Oreo Day! Mrs. Robertson’s and Mrs. Young's Computer Science I classes created new flavors and packaging while taste-testing new Oreo flavors. Our FCCLA will be hosting a Blood Drive Thursday, March 7th. this will be for kids ages 16 and older with parent permission and photo ID and kids must weigh at least 125lbs to donate.
